Workflow and roadmap

Follow the journey from RFQ to a quotation draft.

Quote is GENESA’s initial focus. Other capabilities are planned in phases; appearing on the roadmap does not mean they are available to use.

Quote P0 workflow

From RFQ to a recorded outcome.

Each stage shows what the system handles, what your team controls, and what can be reviewed.

  1. Prepare sources and authority

    System / AI and rules
The workflow uses catalog, customer, pricing, and policy sources provided by the team.
    Team decision
The team maintains master sources and assigns authorized reviewers.
    Stage outcome
Customer data remains the source of truth; GENESA does not replace ERP/CRM.
  2. RFQ received

    System / AI and rules
The RFQ file is stored as work the team can review.
    Team decision
Sales or a quotation administrator uploads the RFQ and confirms its customer context.
    Stage outcome
The RFQ enters a visible workflow.
  3. Structure requirements and candidates

    System / AI and rules
AI helps classify and extract requirements, then presents product candidates with available evidence.
    Team decision
The team reviews fit and clarifies missing or ambiguous information.
    Stage outcome
Requirements and candidates are ready for review, not an automatic decision.
  4. Calculate pricing and prepare a draft

    System / AI and rules
Deterministic rules calculate from pricing sources and policies; AI does not set prices.
    Team decision
The team checks line items and corrects incomplete or stale sources.
    Stage outcome
The quotation draft uses the authoritative sources available.
  5. Review, approve, and create a PDF

    System / AI and rules
The system validates the draft and renders the approved version as a PDF.
    Team decision
An authorized person reviews and approves or returns the draft.
    Stage outcome
The PDF comes from an approved version.
  6. PDF and manual sending; record outcomes

    System / AI and rules
The system stores evidence of manual sending and outcomes or corrections when known.
    Team decision
The team sends the PDF manually and records only outcomes it actually knows.
    Stage outcome
There is no auto-send; unknown outcomes are not assumed.
